Experience Personalized Care with Fort McMurray Midwives

I am a fourth year midwifery student at Mount Royal University. I will be completing my final year

of training with Fort McMurray Midwives. I was fortunate enough to complete a previous clinical

placement here in Fort McMurray, where I learned not only valuable clinical skills, but to

appreciate the midwives, other providers and people in this wonderful city. I value the continuity

of care that midwives are able to provide during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. I

enjoy getting to know each individual and feel so fortunate to be able to walk alongside them

during this time. I bring a commitment to evidence-based practice, collaboration, and team work

in the care I provide. My main goal for this placement includes advancing my clinical skills

through learning from my preceptor, other providers and the broader community. I look forward to serving you as part of your care team and appreciate so much you welcoming me into your
